False information and unconfirmed information to clients

I have two contracts with Vodacom. One with the number ********** and the other with the number ********** 670. Yesterday I called to enquire when I could place a notice to cancel the contract with number ********** 670. The lady took my ID number and confirmed that the contract only ends in July 2020. To my knowlegde the contract ends this year July. After telling her this she was very quick to annouce that iPhone contracts are 3 years long. I said no because I have another phone and that contract is two years and I have another before that and the contract was two years. She than put me on hold for an extremely long time without advising why. I put the phone down. I need to know why consultants are giving false information and why I was never informed that the contract would be for three years as well. I do not want a three year contract.

Good day,
I am not hate with the response that I have received from Vodacom. I would like to know when this was explained - that the contract would be a 36 months period. All contracts that have ever been taken by me have always been 24 months. From the day I tried to apply for the contract till today I have had issues with the service. As a client I am extremely unhappy and not impresssed with the Service. Please check if I have ever been a poor client to Vodacom.
