False Fibre Advertising - selling their product as "just a call and contract"
Ref - Fibre\SO***
A usual day in the office, about 2 weeks back someone from Vodacom called mentioned the call was recorded and then proceeded to try to sell me fibre. An agent said she just wanted to send a contract and it wasnt me signing up for anything. Starting the call i asked her what it was regarding and when she said its about fibre from Vodacom i said no thanks and she proceeded to do her pitch. Multiple times on that recording you can hear that i said no thanks and she proceeded with it was "just a contract" nothing to sign up for and if i was interested i could call them back. I repeatedly said "NO THANK YOU, I'm happy with my service provider"
When i hung up she sent me a contract and the very next day i had RAM try to deliver me a router, then another RAM consultant try to ask me why i didn't want a router from them. I then called the Vodacom call center and cancelled whatever false advertising/ sale this woman did against my name i wasn't interested! (all in the span of 3 days).
Its been 2 weeks since me cancelling and i still receive emails about them wanting to cancel my service provider before they can continue to move my fiber. I am happy with my service provider, NO I DO NOT WANT TO CANCEL IT.
Please remove this order you have running for me. I am not interested in Vodacom FIbre!! Side note while you at it, teach your staff that telling you it isn't a sale, sells you something against your will is an offense.
Thanks, id appreciate you actually take the time to talk to your staff and make it known that what they doing is *******. Unless you guys are all in on it then it’s a shady way to be doing business. Calling to tell a customer about your product and then going against a persons request and starting their own sale on behalf of the client is wrong. I’d appreciate it if you let me know what action you have taken in the agent that falsely sold me a product I wasn’t interested in.
Thanks
