False advertising, poor product and a customer service department that promises little and delivers even less.

My Voda@#m internet package does not work, 1009 daytime disconnections since 19 June and 135 so far this morning! Four weeks of trying to get Voda@#m to address this, another 42 minutes on hold with the cancellations dept today and still waiting for the promised call back. Despite promises from Voda@#m sales that reception in my area is excellent, I have since received an SMS from an agent advising me that the local Voda@#m transmitter is mounted on a lamp post, this in a seaside town where the wind blows incessantly. If this is the best that this company has to offer its customers they should be avoided at all costs. False advertising, poor product and a customer service department that promises little and delivers even less.

Reviewer Update
Ten days since my review and I'm still waiting for Voda@#m to take accountability and resolve this issue, while I continue having to buy additional data to prop up a non-performing WiFi network so that I am able to work. Fifty seven internet disconnections since 08:26 this morning! One last try to resolve this 'amicably' before we take the legal route.

My daily calls to Voda@#m are either disconnected or redirected and my requests to speak to a senior manager are rebuffed or ignored. Is this a case of pure incompetence or is it company policy driven by senior management to treat customers so dismissively?

Mr Sitholizwe Mdlalose, CEO of Vodocam SA, your automated answering service repeatedly reminds me that my calls may be recorded, please take some time to listen to these calls and empower one of your senior managers to resolve my connectivity problems without further delay because your customer services employees are clearly not empowered or interested in doing so. Alternatively, acknowledge your technical challenges in my area and remove your equipment from my property forthwith. Please stop promising me follow up calls, network departments or technicians when your company obviously has no intention to deliver.

It's time you started taking your customers seriously and stop treating them as mere subscriber numbers.
