False Advertising or Useless Service Provider?

I app**** for a new vodacom contract on 3 March 2019 for a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 on a uChoose Flexi 220. The application was done in store by the mall@carnival branch. As per the Vodacom advert I was supposte to get the phone, a dog training voucher and a dex stand. The Samsung representative at the store insisted I do the application in store as I will be able toe receive my phone immediately and if any issues arise it will be easier to sort out. Vodacom was the only network offering the dex stand at that moment so I reluctantly ported from Cell C. Huge mistake. I received the phone but no dex stand. I asked the Vodacom consultant and the samsung representative but they had no idea what i was talking about. I showed them the vodacom advert but they still had no clue. They said they have never even before seen a dex stand. The Vodacom consultant took a photo of the Vodacom advert and promised me to give me a call the next day. But he failed to do so. (a Trend to follow) I have sent eMails to Vodacoms store complaints with promises they will call me back. They never did. I have sent several emails and called several times to the vodacom customer care. But the also just pro.ise to call back. I have tried to return my phone and cancel this contract with this joke of a network since the 4th of march but Vodacom has no idea on hou to run their house. I have sent over 10 mails and several calls trying to sort this out. It has been almost 2 months now and I have not received any real assistance or help feom Vodacom. Only call after call and mail after mail of "we will get back to you". But they never do. My brother has the same issue with Vodacom and the Mall@Carnival branch where he did not receive all his accessories on his S10 contract. But I will leave that for his hellopeter reveiw. At the end of the day Vodacom and the Mall@carnival branch is by far the worst experience I have ever had with any company and a huge mistake to have gone with them. I will never make that mistake again and will advise everyone else the same. And it is a shame that I have to give them a one star rating on hellopeter because they do not even deserve that.
