False advertising by Vodacom Chatz

Good day It is with great disappointment that I write this email. I went to the Vodacom Chatz store at Lakeside Mall in Benoni to upgrade my cell phone contract today (1 May 2016). On seeing the advert (see attachment), which clearly states it is for new and upgrade contracts ("sign up OR upgrade"), I opted to take up the offer. I was then advised that this offer is only for new contracts. Is it fair to have contradictory information in the same advert? Surely the customer should be given the benefit of any doubt. On speaking to the manager, Thabo, I received no joy. He advised that I should take the matter up with Vodacom, however he gave me incorrect details.
