False Advertising by Vodacom

On 7.02.2019 I looked at vodacom brochures as I am due for an upgrade on my phone and I found this amazing deal and I decided to take the contract and upgrade online. I was sent a confirmation congrats on your upgrade and I take a screen grab as proof and a few minutes later I receive an sms confirming same and advising that the courier company will send me a waybill. Number. I received my phone via courier on 8.02.2019. Now I am all set up, I call the call center to confirm when will my new contract and debit order go off. To my astonishment I am given an extremely higher amount to the one I upgraded too. The lady at the call center said she can't help me I need to call the online number.. I called them and the lady advised me that the amount was correct, I advised her it is not the correct amount as the deal amount was much lower. I said to her I only upgraded on line because of the deal and I have proof and she said she can't help me she is in sales and I must email them cos there are no managers or anyone that I can speak too. This is a clear case of false advertising and leading me into upgrading online. I have not received a reply from my email. There is no one that I can talk to as each person says they cant help me. Vodacom must honor the deal that I signed for and not passing my query from pillar to post. I am disgusted at their service and especially since I am a loyal customer for many years. False advertising to get customers is pathetic and then they think as they have debit order details they can do as they please.. I am shocked that a company as big as vodacom can cheat people with their false advertising. I have all my proof and even proof of the deal that was advertised. I am very upset and disappointed and need to let everyone know what vodacom does to their loyal customers.
