False advertising/billing

So I've been with Vodacom a while. I know you can upgrade earlier and all that.

I was due for an upgrade in April. When I went in to upgrade (as I had to after my phone was ******), in MAY, they told me that end of June my bill would be R1000 something. So I understood okay makes sense.

But now they say because I upgraded I'm still being changed for my previous phone, as the contract only ends en of July. Now my question is, why are the people in the stores lying to the customers?!! As I can't afford paying this every damn month because Vodacom can't explain to their clients! I upgraded before, and what happened was, you upgrade to a new handset with what ever packages deal the phone comes with. Not all of a sudden oh you have to pay for both devices etc.

If you don't want people to upgrade, then don't allow them to. This was a complete waste of my money!!! As I'm paying for something I don't have anymore. (not your problem I know)

Dear Vodacom,
So it was made clear to me that I SHOULD NEVER upgrade before the 24months are up. Cause apprently your rules have changed now. I have ALWAYS been able to upgrade when you so kindly keep on notifying me, and then ONLY PAY FOR ONE DEVICE. Not sure how many people you do in like this, but I get now why people move over to elsewhere!
