False advertising and Incorrect Contract Amount

On Friday the 21st of July, Vodacom called me to offer me a 3G WiFi router with 5GB of data anytime and 5GB after twelve for R199. I was impressed as how much I would be saving on data as their rates are ridiculous so I went ahead with the 24 month contract. On many occassions during the call the guy repeated R199 a month and i also reconfirmed this pricing as i was not willing to pay anymore.

I received the router yesteday and logged into my Vodacom account and see that for the remaining month of July I have been billed R237, there is 6 days left of the month so God knows how the hell this pro rata amount was calculated. That isn't even the most pathetic part, my monthly contract shows on my account as R259 a month for the contract.

This makes me INCREDIBLY ANGRY as Vodacom seems to think they can do as they please with my account and money. The call on Friday was around 1:30pm and I expect this amount to be amended on my contract or I will take them up with the CPA. They can listen to the entire conversation, this is the reason the calls are recorded, because of the ***** they are!

If they cannot rectify the amount to R199 and amend this months pro-rata i want it to be cancelled completely!!!
Vodacom is the most pathetic excuse for a network.

This is now the fourth time i am posting this, awaiting a response and so called phone call!!!!!

I have posted this message four times already and not once has someone actually called me. The responses on Hellopeter are becoming as bad as calling customer service and people saying they will call you back. Aside from automated responses, does Vodacom actually attempt to fix the problem a customer has?
