False advertising

I called Vodacom Contact Centre on 135 on Thursday 18 April to open up a contract I saw in their April - May catalogue for an iPhone 14 Pro 1TB for R1029 x 36 months, Phelele Zulu was assisting me. She first checked stock availability of the device before we continued with our conversation, she then confirmed that there is available stock. An email with quote number *** was shared with me on Thursday 18 April, confirming contract details and amounts. Today 22 April, I am anticipating delivery, only to receive a call from Vodacom (Xolile) advising that there is no stock available. What mediocre service is this? Now Vodacom has available stock for iPhone 15 Pro 1TB for R1500 x 36 months, is this a ploy for customers to but the latest device at a higher amount? My ask is, the least they can do is to give me a device with the same spec and amount.
