False Advertising

Tuesday 10 Dec 2019, I contacted Vodacom Flamwood in Klerksdorp telephonically to gain more information about a certain cellular mobile. One of the questions I asked, was how much the cellular mobile is sold at. This price was confirmed once telephonically and twice in store on different occasions. When I wanted to pay for the phone, the amount was much more than the amount communicated to me. When I requested to speak to the manager, he could not understand why the price was what has been communicated to me. He then called the area manager who admitted it was a discrepancy from their side carried over to their sales reps. Yet, he refused point blank to sell the cellular phone at the price which was communicated to me in an impolite and unhelpful manner.
