FALSE ADVERTISING

When i signed up with vodacom fibre , the sales agent told me that we would get one month free and cancellation , so i decide to sign seeing that i have one last payment on another account and then would start paying those funds for the fibre. The fibre was installed and fully operational by the 29th July and by the 6th of August to my surprise i received a invoice that i have to pay R695odd.

I then reversed the debt orders because this was not the agreement we had when i signed up.

I then proceeded to engage with vodacom regarding the invoice and agreement and presentation made on the one month free of which i was turned down telling me of other stuff , not even related to my query.

I have spoken to collections / legal department and customer care as well as gone to the store and no one can assist me.

I am being billed for the service that i am currently not even using as the system has suspended the service and i was told that i will still be liable.

I feel i was conned into the agreement with false advertising and also now stuck in a rock and a hard place as Vodacom cannot assist me.

Good Day

Thank you for you getting back to me.

But this is *********, yes i signed the month to month contract on the basis that i would be getting a one month free subscription when signing up.

So basically you telling me i was intentionally ****med to sign up and in trouble as my account is in arrears.

Well that is not good practice for a well established company to **** people into signing up for your products/ services.

this goes against my consumer rights.

I have a right to protection against bait marketing.
