False advertising

I renewed my contract and upgraded my phone at the beginning of March for another 2 years. Roughly 2 weeks later I received an e-mail saying my contract rate will be increasing 1 May 2015. I got another e-mail for my WIFI data contract re an increase in rates (contract entered into in October last year). I am in the process of sorting this out with Vodacom. As a matter of interest I went onto their website and package rates are still being advertised at current rates. I phoned the sales department today as a new client and enquired about the Smart L contract with an iPhone 6. I was quoted R749 per month. I specifically asked if that would be for the whole 2 year contract and I got told YES! No mention of increase in May! Clearly Vodacom are not being honest with potential new clients with regards to their contract rates!! I still maintain it is immoral to change a contract rate mid-contract and eagerly await my signed contracts agreeing to the supposed clause that they can change rates whenever they please! Be careful when signing a new contract with Vodacom!
