False advertising

On the 25th of November my husband had gone to Checkers in the Bluff. There were Vodacom adverts outside the shop. There was a deal for a contract R499 for a s22 Samsung with a smart watch for 24 months. He was told by a vodacom employee that all 6 phones they had for that deal was already taken but he should fill in the paper work so he could get the phone once it was restocked. When he went to do that they had refused to give him the deal and said it was a mistake in the advert. He later went to Pick n pay and had seen the same advert. When he went and asked the assistant about it she said that he can get the deal and he had started filling in the paperwork only for her to tell him that she can not process it because she cannot find the deal on her system. This is just ********* and false advertising. Vodacom needs to fix this! What they did a such a waste of time and totally *********. How do their employees not know there's a mistake in the advert and then also when they do gather it was a mistake they still continue to have the advert up in more than one branch even though it was supposedly a mistake! And if it was a mistake how was the deal given to other people previously. This makes no sense! It's very disappointing!

I have waited for Vodacom to respond and still there has been no contact. Since I made this complaint I have visited both the Vodacom stores in bluff and very convenient these 2 adverts had a " Sold Out" across it. How can it even be sold out when supposedly it was a mistake advert! Absolutely ridiculous. It's absurd how a big name provider can be so deceiving.

The problem is that I was told that the advert was a mistake. I was not told that the deal was only valid while stock lasts. I was told it was a misprint, it was a mistake, the deal can't be found.
