False advertising
In Februrary I upgraded to a sim only contract with Vodacom. Recently I upsized to a Red Premium + contract. On all advertised information ( instore and website) a sim only contract is supposed to be R 1299, but when I upsized the charged price is R 1714. This is the same as a contract with a smartphone included according to advertisment.
I enquired instore and at the online customer care and according to both the only price for a Red Premium + contract is R 1714. This is unacceptable and blatant false advertising of products and services.

I had a further look at the information on the website, it is not stated that the sim only contract price is only for new contracts or new customers only.
With reference to our call, it was made clear to me that only new customers and new contracts is important to you. We, your longtime loyal customers, are only allowed the "privilege" to help the company reach their targets each month.
After referencing your terms and conditions, you " reserve the right to alter the services to you in particular, without notice or reason" as you currently did.
