FAILURE TO DO DUE DILIGENCE

I am not a vodacom customer first of all, however someone managed to change that without my consent. I am not sure what kind of process vodacom follows when they sign up new contract phones, whatever it is needs to be reviewed. From what I understand about new accounts, there are alot of documents that must prove who your are that need to be submitted on top of that the person responsible for opening the account must check my ID book against the copy that I am submitting as supporting, was that done? maybe not, especially because people can be bought. I reside in jhb and this ********** account was opened in dbn at a mall called Cornubia, to have it closed I must go there physically, why? I wasn't there to open it in the first place. I must now be the one running around trying to clear my name and close accounts I did not open. ***** is serious and it is ever increasing, the burden shouldnt lie with the victim and I feel like vodacom needs to get with the times and stop hiring for the sake of creating jobs. Heads must roll and the first head must be the person who opened this account using **** credentials as they failed to verify authenticity and now they are making me write a bad review about vodacom.
