Failure to correct their *********** service whilst TRYING to migrate my contract - even after being promised following my previous complaint on Hellopeter!

Dear Vodacom,

Herewith a follow up regarding the below complaint - Selwyn from customer care contacted me yesterday morning but none of his promises came to fruition, nor could the multiple call centre agents resolve the matter and they also don't phone back when they promised they would!!

I've been trying since Friday the 14th to migrate from my current Smart XL package to a Smart L+ package.

Can someone as such please contact me to finalise this process, if you listen to all of the voice recordings for ********** you will cringe at hearing the utter incompetence of your staff.

Herewith some brief context & background:

1: I upgraded during November 2014 on a Smart L contract, with the monthly handset instalment fees calculated accordingly;

2: I subsequently migrated to a Smart XL package during 2016, the monthly handset instalment for my iPhone was however not reduced but I had no issue with that seeing that the initial upgrade calculations were performed on a Smart L package;

3: I now want to migrate to a Smart L+, seeing that it is better value for money whilst still being a more expensive than the Smart L that I upgraded to during Nov 2014.

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE FIRST AND FOREMOST COMPLETE THIS PROCESS FOR ME, I've phoned more than 7x times since Friday whilst your one agent this afternoon even debated the package with me until I twice referred her to your website - this was shocking!

Secondly, why should I pay a migration fee of R427 when the contract is once again still more expensive than the Smart L that my upgrade was based upon, especially so when the monthly handset instalment doesn’t reduce accordingly?

Lastly, the various recordings of this "attempted upgrade" should be used in training in order to clearly illustrate to your call centre agents HOW TO NOT ENGAGE with clients, i.e. those who pay their salary...

Kind regards and I look forward to this matter being expedited.
