FAILURE TO CANCEL A CONTRACT - DOUBLE CHARGE

In August 2015 I requested cancellation in respect of one of my contracts with Vodacom. It was a pre-mature cancellation and I had to pay in excess of R12k. The Proof of payment and all required documentation was sent to Vodacom. Vodacom gladly received the money but FAILED to cancel the contract. A few months ago Vodacom starting debiting my bank account for the line was they were supposed to have cancelled - this is of course after they had used the R12k as a deposit for the monthly billings. WHO in their right mind would just deposit a large sum of money into Vodacom's account for no purpose! Vodacom failed to cancel the contract in Aug 2015 and only did not in July 2016. Nobody at Vodacom wants to take any responsibility for the default herein. My current active line is currently suspended due to alleged payment in arrears. Two of Vodacom's supervisors have promised to reactivate the line on two occussations and promised that it would take between 2 -5 hrs for the line to be reactivated. It is almost 12 hours later and my account/line is still not reactivated. Vodacom does not respond to emails or messages. It has been months now and still they are not competent to sort this problem out. I HATE VODACOM and I will never use them again.

I had to give vodacom a star in order to publish my review - but know that it is my view they don't deserve any.
