Failure to cancel 2 expired contracts at 31 May 2020 in spite of numerous attempts

I have been asked by a friend to express her sheer desperation with Vodacom at her battle to terminate 2 of her cellphone contracts which EXPIRED 31 May 2020. At the end of April 2020 she telephonically contacted the Retentions/Cancellations Department and was informed she should only cancel early in May as it would incur a penalty for early termination. She called Vodacom (spoke to Chikane ?sp?) on 5th May and requested immediate cancellation of the 2 contracts for the end of May. This should be evident on the system as calls are apparently recorded. At the end of May the money for the two was again debited from her account. On visiting the Brooklyn Mall Vodacom Shop she was informed that the 2 contracts had not been cancelled as requested. An Account Services request was sent through (Ref : *** dd 1 June 2020)reiterating her request and requesting a reimbur*****t of the amount debited. After numerous visits to the Brooklyn Mall Vodacom Shop as well as numerous phonecalls to your cancellations department the 2 contracts have not been terminated. She has still not received any confirmation as requested nor a refund. At the end of June 2020 her bank account was ONCE AGAIN debited. This level of service is totally unacceptable and is not in keeping with the service expected from a listed South African company.
