Failure in service delivery and customer support

Horrible horrible experience with Vodacom.

Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the handling of my contract and service received. Despite submitting documents promptly, there was no feedback within the promised timeframes. I was repeatedly asked to send documents by different agents, yet no one provided any updates. My follow-up emails were ignored and my calls to customer care were disconnected after I explained my query. The lack of communication and repeated requests for the same information were extremely frustrating and unprofessional.

I eventually received feedback and my application was approved and I was informed that my phones would be delivered within 3-5 working days. I received a text stating that the devices had been handed over to the courier company but no other communication since then. To make matters worse, I was not sent a tracking number so I am unable to track my delivery and the stipulated timeframe given has passed. When I enquired via the tobi chat platform, I was referred to skynet who advised they could not assist me without a tracking number. Customer care in turn referred me back to the chatbot, leaving me with no resolution.

I have never experienced such poor service from a network provider. This circular and ineffective support process has caused significant inconvenience and disappointment.
