Failed Voluntary Call Limit Costs Customer

I recently upgraded my line to the VIP line with a subscription of R1999. I have a long standing voluntary call limit (VCL) of R1000 on my line. This means that when my utilization reaches R1000 above the subscription amount my line locks. I was shocked this month to receive a bill of R4,500 - R1,500 in excess of what my VCL should allow. How many other failures must/ am I paying for unwittingly.

The difference between the cumulative limit (R3"
