EXTREMLY POOR SERVICE

Once again I have to resort to Hellopeter to have a query resolved as it seems that Vodacom does not care and value their client. I called in on the 5th Feb 2025 to cancel my fibre contract due to affordability. After a discussion with the call centre agent , I was offered a more affordable option with a down graded line speed. I accepted the new contract offer and was advised that it will take 72 hours to came into effect. I was also advised that I will be billed a pro rata amount at the end of the month. Came month end and as no surprise to me I was billed the full amount of the old contract. On the 3rd of March I called again to enquire why I was billed the full amount. I was then told the new contract will only came into effect on the 1st March 2025. By this time my blood was boiling as this is not was I was originally called. I was then transferred to another call agent. I had to repeat the whole issue again. On investigation on her side , she advised me that the migration to the lower line speed was only done on the 25th Feb 2025 and that she does not know why. She also advised me that it normally take 24 hours. She then told me that she will log a ticket for the billing department to investigate and that I will receive a reference or ticket number via sms and e mail. This obviously did not happen and I refuse to call them again as Im wasting my airtime to point out their error and incompetance. I was also advised that there was also an increase on the new contact amount effective 1st March 2025; I now beg someone to please thoroughly investigate what the hack is going on and I need this rectified and refunded , as the migration was done almost 3 weeks later than advised. I also want to be compensated for the airtime I had to waste keep on calling them. Im currently shopping around for another service provider that care about their clients and that can offer me a deal that is affordable for me and end my longstanding relationship with Vodacom for good.

I eventually had a call from a gentleman by the name of Dean . I explained to him what the problem was and he confirmed that he will take it up with the billing department.
On Saturday i received a e mail with ref no SR*** attached the Invoice for March 2025. Then a e mail and sms followed advising that the case has been resolved and closed,
WRONG , It has not been resolved as no one has taken the time or made an effort to read my original complaint carefully before they responded.
I cant even began to say how livid I am at the poor service from Vodaccom and Im now more than convinced that they really dont value their clients.
I need someone to take their time to READ my original complaint carefully , then do a proper investigation and then give me a call to discuss.
I WILL NOT stop posting my dissatisfaction on this platform until Im satisfied with the response from Vodacom
I await

Good day , i tried to respond to this mail by it was not successfull cause the case number was closed , no surprise to me.

IM NOT satisfied with the reply received , as mentioned previously people do not take time to READ what the query is all about , so let me repeat myself

I did a migration on the 5th Feb 2025 , and was categorically advised this will take 72 hours at the most and it will came into effect and I will be billed pro-rata. This was obviously not the case , as I was advised that the migration only happened on the 25th . 20 days after my request , hence I was only given 4 days pro rata as per the March invoice that was mailed to me.

I WILL NOT ACCEPT this as someone clearly failed to perform their duties. I want my money back that is due to me. Give and take , if the migration was done on the 10th the latest , I should have received a refund for at least 14 days pro rata. Im sure you will agree that why should the client for the incompetance of Vodacom's employees ,

I DEMAND that someone senior have a look at this query and then give me a call to discuss. I will not rest until Im satisfied that this was resolved in a satisfactory manner , and in the way that it was advised to me on the 5th

I await

I Received a phone call on the 25th March 2025 from Peter Ganca from the billing department , and needless to say I had to repeat myself again as it seems no one red my complaint properly. I was promised a call back in a few day , almost a week later and Im still waiting. Shocking to say the least about the service. I need a resolution and I need it fast . Can Peter please give me a call as Im refusing to waste my airtime to have their internal error fixed
