Extremely poor service

I called vodacom on the 1st of August 2016 advised them that i wished to cancel my contract which was ending at the End of August 2016. The consultant that i spoke to at Retentions convinced me not to cancel the contract but to change from my smart XL to a Top up contract(Quotation 1- ********** 1220) where i will be getting 2G of data per month at a monthly cost of around R 109.00 per month.

The latter was to begin on the 1st of September 2016, i know this because i did ask during our call.

On the 31st of August 2016 when i checked my balances i was shocked to find out that i was already on the Top up package a day earlier then what i was advised. What makes me angry is that up to the day before i had over a Gig of Data and over a 100 minutes which i lost.

I called the call center and after being sent from pillar to post i was told the matter is being escalated with ref1- ********** 6673 of which i have not recieved feedback to date and today is the 5th of September 2016.

I then went to a vodacom outlet after discovering that since the 1st of September 2016 all my incoming calls are now showing as private meaning i no longer have CLI yet i never requested for this service to be disabled furthermore my last statement billed on my account for my smart XL Vodacom did not give me a reduced subcription fee as with all other previous months because i had taken a simcard but no device..

Then at the store i am told my account is in arreas yet Vodacom not only debited my account they actually overcharged me in the process. I was then told my query has been escallated with Ref number 1 - ********** 1883.

I am extremely unhappy of the very very poor service from vodacom.
