On the 19 December 2016 i had called the Vodacom contact centre to query an exhorbitantly high November bill. I spoke to Palesa, and was given a reference number, and she stated that someone will get in touch with me within 7 days, once their investigations have been completed. Her reason for the high statement amount was due to data usage. I explained to her that my data is always switched off as i have wifi at home and at my office, as well as the fact that i also have a call limit on my line. Well, no one called, so i called them back on 082 111 (the same number i previously called) after 8 days, only to be told that i at at the wrong division. I was then transferred to Collections, then to Billing and Accounts and then to Technical, only to explain my story to each consultant with no assistance offered at all, because "they dont deal with that sort of issue". All they could help with was logging another complaint, as the original query was no where to be found ie was not logged, and as soon someone gets to the query i will receive a call. I made another call just before the 30th December to follow up, and still no call / issue was logged, so then i asked to go to Accounts and cancelled my debit order, in the hope that maybe then someone from Vodacom will call me. Nothing but endless automated calls come throughout the day requesting their outstanding payment. Last week Wednesday i decided to go to Vodacom at Clearwater Mall to try to resolve the issue. I spoke to Sabelo Gumede, and even he could not assist me. He did however try to call the call centre himself, and even he could not get through to any Consultant. Yeah, what a surprise, welcome to my world, where its virtually impossible to either get through to them or even reach the correct consultant. I think Vodacoms approach to me has been quite pathetic, and will not be making payment until the right person contacts me to explian the high charges on my account.

PS - Regrettfully, I have 3 Vodacom accounts with such a useless service provider, actively looking at transferring my current services to another provider.
