Extremely poor customer relations! NO STARS!

I was contacted on Friday the 14th of October by a debt collections agency regarding a debt I owe to Vodacom. I was appalled to hear this as I have not heard anything verbally or written from Vodacom on this matter. Furthermore, I have never cancelled a contract in the 15+ years I have had a Vodacom number. I have contacted Vodacom about this and was told I am not in arrears. How dare Vodacom think they can just play with me like a toy! Where is the phone call, the letter, even a registered letter with intent so I can actually do something about this. I am appalled that Vodacom felt they can do things like this and 'play' with us. I have since hearing this called Vodacom and no one seems to know what is going on. I expect an apology. You wrecked my birthday with this!! The person responsible for this owes me a HUGE APOLOGY! I expect a call from Vodacom explaining this. DISPICABLE AND I HOPE THIS IS RESOLVED ASAP!

I am yet to hear from Vodacom. I want to to be put on record that I am making more of an effort to resolve this problem then Vodacom is. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

I almost feel compelled to cancel my current contract - go to "Pay as you go" on another network as I feel the Customer Service is APPALLING !!!!I was told by NCS - who is chasing me for money !!! that I am in debt for a contract that I had in 2007 - That contract is for my current number which is STILL ACTIVE and according to your Vodacom Callcenter is not in ARREARS !!!!. I have been called 3 times this morning and have been told that if I do not make any payments I will be subject to more interest. Interest on What ???? If a Vodacom rep had just called me and said that there is an irregularity on my account we could have resolved this but I am really ANGRY that instead of making any attempt to contact me I just been handed over. The arrogance of that almost makes me want to cancel my current contract and have nothing to do with Vodacom from today onwards. If there was an issue on my account how is it possible I have been able to upgrade my contact every 2 years over the past 16+ years ? If owe Vodacom Money I will gladly pay it, but you need to explain and prove it.

Regards,

Lloyd
