Extremely bad service. No more Vodacom for me.
My cell contract was suspended due to arrears on my account. after 2 months, I have paid the full outstanding amount of R3493.00 My balance is currently zero.
I emailed customer care on Friday, 25 May 2018 stating the entire episode. All that I received was a email with a reference number and that they will get back to me with 24 hours. I am still waiting for a call. Friday, 25 May 2018 at 09:31, a man from Vodacom emailed me that that he received the proof of payments, that I send to him. Mr. Mtandazo Mapisi state on his email that the activation of my account will be lifted within a max. time of 24 hours.
Saturday, 26 May 2018, after the 24 hours expired, I phoned customer care again. They put me through to the collection department. The lady at collection department was very helpful and put me through to another department, where they will activate my account. She said that it will take about 2 to 3 hours for my phone will be active again.
It is now Sunday, 27 May 2018, 1pm and my contract is still blocked (suspended).
What now. Do I report them to the Ombudsman. I think I will. Empty promises from Vodacom. I am extremely disappointed with the entire process and false promises.
VODACOM, get your act together and deliver on your promises.
Vodacom even change my contract plan to a "top up collection" and change the expire date of my contract from July 2018 to 2020. I am not at all satisfied with this, as I want to cancel my contract in July 2018. VODACOM, change the contract on my primary number back to 2018.
what a bunch of idiots working there, that cannot even do an activation. I demand an apology and rectification of your false promises.
My account number is: I ********** and my primary cell is: ********** You better ensure that my cell and contract is active by Monday, 28 May 2018.
I hope that you co-operate for your own sake and for the company, as further steps will be taken if this is not done.
In the event that you feel the need to contact me, you can phone on a borrowed cell number: ********** 956.
