Extremely bad service from Vodacom Shop at Greenstone Mall and Vodacom C Three D CAD Department (C3D/CD3)

It's now exactly 4 weeks since I went to Vodacom Shop L093 in Greenstone Mall on 17 June.

I went there with my father to do a change of ownership of my cell number which is in my fathers name, to my name. I have filled in all the papers and provided all the needed documents. We have been told that it was a C3D/CD3 account type and that they had to send it to their main offices for processing, they said that I would receive an SMS to confirm the process maybe the next day.

1 Week passed and I have heard absolutely nothing, so I phoned the store and asked what was happening with the transfer, the person, who I found out is the manager there afterwards, told me she will find out what is going on and call me back as soon as possible. A few hours later I receive a call from her telling me they will follow up on the matter and keep me informed.

Another week passed and I have heard absolutely nothing, so I phoned again to speak to manager and the same lady I spoke to the last time claims that she is the manager. She apologized and said she will get to the bottom of this and keep me informed.

Another week passed and I have heard absolutely nothing, so I decided to go there physically to speak to the manager on Saturday 9 July. The manager wasn't there, instead an assistant manager said I should speak to the person who helped me the first time I went there. This person is Sales Executive Victor Kapumha.

I spoke to Victor and he told me he is sorry he doesn't know why it is taking so long, he said that he will write an email to " C THREE D CAD " asking to help with the matter as it is quite urgent. He printed the original email sent on the 17th of June aswel the new email send on that day and gave me the copies. I asked him if I can phone this department directly and deal with them myself, but he said "that would not work" and gave me the 082 111 number instead.

SO, ANOTHER WEEK HAS PASSED AND I HAVE HEARD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!!

What the **** is going on!?

Why does is it take this LONG to do a ****** transfer, surely in this day and age where almost everything is digital, this shouldn't take long!!!!!!!!!

And the fact that the manager tells me that they would follow up and keep me informed, then never do is ****** ridiculous!

Maybe it is just best to go to MTN/Cell C and ask for a migration.

Philip Alberts Jnr
