Extra Charge for Caller Line Identity

I have recently took up a new phone contract with Vodacom. When I received my device I noticed that my incoming calls only showed unknown numbers. My contract did not include Call Line Identification Presentation (CLIP). This is actually ridiculous. I spent about an houron the phone to solve this but nobody was willing to help. I spoke to 6 different people from the call centre to online sales to after sales back to online sales back to after sales back to online sales. Nobody was could help and everyone said "it's out of their hands".

When I spoke to lady who sold me the contract, Sheik from "Like Minds", who sold me the contract she apologised profusely for not mentioning this to me but she cannot do anything about it now. She said she assumed that I knew that CLIP was a Value Added Service. How was I suppose to know that? Other network providers (MTN, Telkom Mobile, Cell C) include the CLIP price in the contracts. I have a monthly budget - and now I must go over my budget because of Vodacom's incompetence to notify the client before taking out a contract. I have only been with Vodacom for just over a week and I'm already regretting it. The after-sales service is just pathetic.

That answer is not good enough. THe problem I have is that this WAS NOT mentioned to me when I took the contract. All I get are apologies - and nobody makes an effort to sort out my issue. I am the one who comes who STILL suffers from your incompetence in the end.
