Extra airtime with recharge not worth anything

I recharged this morning with R110 and got R55 promotional airtime. I bought some data for the day as well, but discovered that my data is infact being deducted from the R55 at your ridiculous R2/MB rate. I tried buying data on *123# like you always advertise we can do with our extra airtime with that R55 then, seeing that you take it from me at R2/MB, in anyway, and after buying data I lost part of my R110 airtime that I infact bought. What's the use of getting extra airtime if it's in any way being utilised for data at ridiculous prices? Can't you just promote it as 27,5MB extra data or something? I just spent money on data I don't need, seeing that I have the "free airtime" to cover me for data, and the data I bought which is only valid for today is still at 100MB. Whats the use of buying data if you deduct airtime at R2/MB in amy way?
