Extending unwanted contracts

Vodacom treatment towards its customers is getting worse every time. Be it from there outsourcing company that sell contract to there cancelations department. They just trying to ***** from there customers. 1st incedent was a unwanted upgrade that wasn't wantwd took weeks to get that sorted out just so I can have that closed . Now they don't seem to want to cancel a contract that I called in twice to have closed and moved onto pre paid. 1 call was to phone in to close it on the 18 of Feb. I did a follow up call on the 28. First told that it wasn't loaded, when I informed the consultant that I had called in on the 18th and recived the new standard sms. Was told that it was loaded to be canceled. Recived the sms again as follows. You will receive an SMS and Email with your exact cancellation or conversion date. Until such time, your Vodacom Contract Cancellation is not confirmed. Since I can't get sms that can be read as on a phone been the said contract is in a modem. Nor have I received such I email. I had a look at my account which I could easily access as I kept on reciving a maitence message. Finally got in to see that it still seem to be active. Called customer care to find out and was informed that it was still not put onto prepaid. Then vodacom wonders why I'm closing contracts as the expire. Here's the reason pathetic services. Please make the two recordings of my cancelation request available. The one on the 18th and the one on the 28th. P. S the contract end date was the 12 February.

Vodacom stop changing the way you do cancelations before a person had to call on the last day of the month to cancel a contract now you changing the story that you want the 30 days notice when I did call in advance told a different story phone closer to month end to cancel. When a person does just that they don't say anything they just don't process the cancelation request wait for a new month. Just so that you have to call in again to inquire what the hell going on for them to then process the cancelation request just to force to to pay a higher subscription rate cause you now on a month to month contract. Vod om catch awake up how dare you just send a reply without getting all the facts and actually sorting the issuie out how date you say that the issue is resolved.

1. How is the issuie resolved when I wanted the contracted closed end of February not end of March.

2. No one has called me to sort the issuie out I'm still waiting for said call....

3. I'm now been billed a higher premium this month as it's a month to month contract since this was processed last month as it should of been.

This needs to be sorted out asap.
