Expensive and useless, just cancel and save yourself the headache.

im not sure if its just gross incompetence or some weird test to see how far you can push a customer before they will cancel.

I get debited even after making payment, (more than a week in advance) then i get told ill be refunded. The only issue is that they refunded me twice, and now they're telling me they'll debit double the amount next month?

Then in a separate issue i ask what this new invoice i received is thats nearly double my usual invoice, and get told about the 6% increases, except the bill didnt increase by 6% it increased by 92%

now im told this will take a minimum of 7 working days to dispute this bill, by which the mandate will have been sent to my bank and the incorrect invoice (confirmed by vodacom to be incorrect) will likely still be debited.

Everytime i have to go through these ordeals and then have go to the ombudsman before i get any actual help.

If you had taken the time to read the initial post thoroughly, you would have understood that I know it was escalated:

"now im told this will take a minimum of 7 working days to dispute this bill, by which the mandate will have been sent to my bank and the incorrect invoice (confirmed by vodacom to be incorrect) will likely still be debited. "

The issue is with the handling of the escalations. It took a week to get the refund, now it's going to take another week to fix the refund that you messed up in the first place, by which, your broken billing system would have sent a mandate to my bank, with the incorrect amount to be debited.

Vodacom's inability to expedite issues for which they are clearly at fault is baffling.

If it reflects on my credit record that I have missed a payment, or if Vodacom double debits me come April 1st. I want it stated clearly here that I will be logging with ICASA again.
