Expect me to pay for something I did not get

I ordered a phone through Vodacom's online dep in Oct 2015 as I live in a remote area. I received the phone but without the correct sim card. Countless emails and calls and today they tell me that I did receive an sms to tell me that the sim was on back order. But in the mean time Vodacom expects me to pay for a service I cannot use. If Vodacom told me from the start they do not have the sim card in stock I would have gotten the phone from another service provider. However they didn't, they knowingly sent me a product they knew I couldnt use, and charged me up until now, knowing that I do not have a sim card. I find this totally unacceptable, and for 2 months I have been struggling with them to cancel the contract. Dylan Canterbury was assigned to deal with my case, I spoke to him once and he said he will get back to me but never did. Today Raphael told me that he tried to get Dylan to contact me but it appears that he just can't be bothered. Absolutely no customer service, I have completely lost faith in Vodacom and will not pay for their mistakes. No person in their right mind will continue to pay month after month after the service I have received from them. Ref nr S3-9PM2F-FPEI
