Exhausting Part 2

Vodacom has rep****, basically telling me that I am liable for the account in arrears even though no one at Vodacom could give me the correct info since Feb'16. Now a few months later, after lodging a complaint on "Hello Peter", Lesley contacted me to inform me that according to my terms and conditions which I signed in 2008, I am liable for the account as I have never reqeusted a cancellation? IF SOMEONE AT THE CALL CENTRE JUST GAVE THIS INFO TO ME IN FEB'16 UP UNTIL NOW, WE WOULD NOT BE HERE! i asked Lesley to listen to the recordings of my trillion phone calls made to Vodacom, but my final feedback from Vodacom is that I am responsible for the account in question. The e-mails between myself and Lesley is included, according to me I have allready paid for a service which I did not use since I ported to Cell C.

EMAILS BETWEEN MYSELF AND LESLEY AT VODACOM:

On 17 Jun 2016 07:35, ********** ********** wrote:

Good day Jolene

I emailed you final feedback on this matter and I regret to inform that no further correspondence will be entered into.

Thu 2016-06-16 09:42

Jolene Muller **********
RE: EC-041X-1C6GGQ Re:

Lesley,

I haven't received a reply from you? I have phoned Vodacom since Feb’16 numerous times and no one could assist me, now a few months later I have to post a complaint on “Hello Peter” to get assistance and be liable for the months where I begged Vodacom to assist me?

From: ********** **********
Sent: Tuesday, June 14, 2016 11:53 AM
To: Jolene Venter
Subject: RE: EC-0412-2LXFRX RE: FW: IO647564-3 - Urgent please

Good day Jolene

I do thank you for your time and respect your decision, but I will not be able to cancel the account (both numbers) at no cost to you.

Kind regards

Lesley Abels

-----Original Message----

From: Jolene Venter
Sent: Tue Jun 14 11:01:41 GMT+0 **********
To: **********
Subject: RE: EC-0412-2LXFRX FW: IO647564-3 - Urgent please

Lesley,

Yes ,it is in the Terms and conditions but not one of the consultants at Vodacom's call centre informed me that a new number will be given to me after my number was ported. The employees of Vodacom should inform customers, when asked, what the terms and conditions are. When I phoned the call centre after my number was ported numerous times, NOT ONE consultant verified what you told me yesterday.

I have been billed on ********** ********** without using the service since March'16 - May'16 ( 349 x 3 = R 1 047) , on account ********** ********** since Feb'16 - May'16 ( 149 + 4 = R 596)

I have made payments from Feb'16 - May'16 in the amount of R 1 837, according to me, I already paid for something that I did not use?

Vodacom can cancel all my accounts, as requested and I will not be making another payment.

Lesley, I'm sorry that this became your problem but the consultants should inform a customer accordingly, not when a few months have passed & the customer billed for something that they enquired in March'16.

Now, I had to pay for 2 months R 698 which was not my fault in the 1st place. The Call Centre, as I mentioned, is unequipped to assist customers, I had to be on the phone for about 20-30minutes everytime & not once did any consultant inform me of this.

Kind Regards

This message (and attachments) is subject to restrictions and a disclaimer, read more: Afrikaans | English
From: ********** ********** /> Sent: Tuesday, June 14, 2016 10:30 AM
To: Jolene Venter
Subject: RE: EC-0412-2LXFRX FW: IO647564-3 - Urgent please

Good day Jolene

We have reviewed your request and the best we can offer is, to credit your Vodacom account with R261.74 for ********** ********** 899613. That would mean that the last invoice payable for this number is June 2016 invoice.

I have also emailed you the account statement for ease of reference number. The payments I made was mainly deducted off of the top up line and not my data line. I requested below that the top up line's installments be reduced as I was not informed of the new number since yesterday?

Please Lesley

This message (and attachments) is subject to restrictions and a disclaimer, read more: Afrikaans | English
From: Jolene Venter
Sent: Monday, June 13, 2016 10:18 AM
To: ********** /> Subject: IO647564-3

Lesley,

Please can you review the amount payable on my data line, I do realise that the info you gave me is in the terms and conditions but I have also made numerous phone calls to the call centre where not one consultant gave this info to me?

If they had given this info to me in Feb/March'16, the amount owing on my Top up 350 would not be of concern. You will also see that on the new number given to me from Vodacom I have not used any airtime since my number was ported to Cell-C which would give you an indication that none of this info was given to me from your call centre.

Kind Regards

I also want to mention that it was the call centre who told me that the new number added to my account must be ***** and then gave the information of the ***** division to send an e-mail. If it were in my terms and conditions to add a new number to a contract once you have ported then surely the call centre must advise one accordingly.

When will Vodacom contact me? Wait, I know, when another 2 months are added to my account and they will hold me liable for it!
