Evotel to Vodacom Migration - WHAT A MESS!!!!

Dear Vodacom,

I am not at all surprised that I have not heard anything after multiple phone call attempts from my side and enough emails to write a large fictitious book about your lack of service.

This Evotel buyout was done without any proper foresight. – I've sent this message as an email to sales@rockettelecoms, info@rockettelecoms, migration@vodacom and tried phoning all the numbers provided in the Evotel migration list and guess what... NO ONE HAS REP****!

The last time I received a communication from you was a single sms on the 13th of September that my contact has been updated and no further response as to what is going on, except for the emails on the 16th of August stating that my documents were received (that was one month before the sms). One would at least assume to receive an email stating that my contract is in a migration process (an order number or something official) or even a measly call that lasts about 30 seconds to a minute telling me what’s going on.

I tried phoning last night to figure out what was going on and a very nice tech support guy tried assisting as far as possible, telling me that the application was indeed opened on the 13th of September but that nothing has been done further on the system it seems. I also tried phoning Suzan, Gosiame and Janine this morning... As you guessed by the tone of this wonderful email no one bothered to accept my call.

I am glad this has happened, as this is clearly shows me how much you really care about your so called customers. My neighbour on the same yard as me (two cottages on the same yard – he literally lives 10meters away from me) has received emails and a router yesterday. He was also informed that there is a lot of "noise" on the Evotel Fibre lines that are not up to Vodacom standard, more than that his speed of 20/20 mb has been stuffed up to go down to 10/5 mb, still not rectified as yet. Now if this is how this migration process is going to be I do not think that I want to be part of this.

Please note that should you approve my debit order and remove a single cent from my account at the end of this month without giving me a service I will take you to the National Consumer Tribunal (Consumer Protection Act) as I have not received a single documentation in formal writing except for two emails stating that you have received my migration application. Nothing has officially been communicated to me.

I have now made numerous attempt trying to reach someone that can actually assist me - clearly customer service is not a priority at Vodacom.

Hi RJ, When you see this, please contact me immediately, as after our discussion your *********** Fibre department just approved my application which has already been cancelled yesterday. My patience is up, I have already emailed Boitumelo telling her that if you guys withdraw a single cent from my account I will take you to court as I have email upon email upon email proof where services have not been rendered to me and an email stating that my application would be cancelled 24 hours prior to the application being vetted and approved. This was sent by an Executive Client Liaison Officer. I am in the process of speaking to my lawyer - please take note of this. Regards Isak
