Esim fiasco
Having been stuck with Huawei watches that didn't work with esim, I had to then move around my devices so that they could work the way the way my family wanted. Which involved resetting my old Samsung watches and reconnecting them with different devices. No problem Vodacom gladly charged me R98 each time while MTN offers the same service for free? So playing this musical chairs with my family on the devices we had to reset the one device. Called Vodacom because the esim was activated at R98 ,the consultant I spoke to yesterday didn't have a clue what to do and spent 30 minutes on the phone. At the end of the call was advised would recieve the qr code in 30 minutes. But all I received was a notification that my "one number service " was canceled, which means I will have to pay Vodacom another R98 to activate it again. Im already paying for watches that dont do what Vodacom said they would, Paid R200 in connection fees to try keep my family happy as result and now going to have to pay again for something a Vodacom call center consultant didn't know how to do. Vodacom just keeps adding salt into a very costly wound.
