ESIM
8 months ago I visited Vodacom 4u Cradlestone. I went there to enquire about an e-sim that I would like to get for my business because my phone only takes 1 sim card and seeing that I have an existing contract with Vodacom I did not think it would be a problem. I got there and spoke to Mpho, she was very rude and unhelpful and told me that I should rather phone customer service for help. (I did leave a review about this 8 months ago). After a lot of struggle, I had to Google how to get a Vodacom e-sim and then told Mpho what she must do to activate one for me. We eventually got the e-sim activated.
Now, in February 2024 after being with Vodacom for 13 years I decided to cancel my Vodacom contract and move over to Mtn because I struggle with Vodacom signal in the area where I stay. I went into the Chatz Vodacom store in Potchefstroom and paid my cancellation fee. I signed a contract with Mtn and ported my personal number. Mtn said that I should go to Vodacom and find out about my e-sim (business number). I went back to Chatz Vodacom in Potchefstroom, and they were very helpful but they concluded that my e-sim number is not on the system anymore. I never canceled it. Now if someone tries to phone me on my business number (e-sim) it says the number doesn't exist although I can still send WhatsApps from that number.
Vodacom explained to me that they do not know why my number is not on the system anymore, the only reason could be that the person who set up my e-sim (Mpho at Cradlestone Mall) initially must have set it up incorrectly. Now this is a big problem! I am unable to do business on that number and it is causing me to lose business and that is only because it's not on the system anymore and someone did not do their job right. Vodacom please help, this is a very serious and urgent matter.

By this time, I am over all this nonsense with Vodacom. I am STILL unable to call my clients and they are STILL unable to get in touch with me - you are causing frustrating clients and lost business! This has been a back-and-forth for about 3 weeks about a problem which is has been caused by someone at Vodacom.....
I'll be waiting for that guy to phone me again and to solve this problem himself.
