Entrapment within Insurance policy.

I have been Vodacom user for almost 18 years. I acquired a phone a month ago, a Bberry Z3. I pay for that phone, I have ins on that phone... Its my phone !!
On the 3/3/15, I lost the phone. It could have been ******, either way the phone is lost. I termit the life of the phone by supplying a IMEI number. This is the same phone I acquired a mth ago!! I receive an ITC number by going to one of the stores. Vodacom provide some number *** that never gets answered. I must have been waiting an hour before hanging up. Phoning this number serves no purpose.

I dd the trek thru the Police station, got a case number and lodged a claim. Transpires that the claim is rejected!!! Why??? An absolute techinicality. I had another VODACOM 082 sim card, also mine and for company use in that phone. Is this not ridiculous!!. If there was a sim card of another service provider or if the phone was being used by another person on number different to mine, maybe I can understand. When its my phone, that I am paying for monthly, that I am paying insurance on, that I terminated, that I reported as lost etc etc, ...This amounts to contractual entrapment. Its wrong and its devious. Its very poor!!!
