END OF 24 MONTHS CONTRACT

I made every effort to address this issue in a more amicable manner, but I am now compelled to take further action. In August 2022, I entered into a 24-month contract with Vodacom for a phone, with an anticipated conclusion date of August 2024. However, in May this year, I received a call informing me that I still had an additional year of payments remaining.

I mentioned to the Vodacom representative that I had agreed to a 24-month agreement, not a 36-month one. To my surprise, her response was that Vodacom does not offer 24-month contracts. After a month passed without any resolution, I reached out to Vodacom's offices seeking clarification. The individual I spoke with assured me that they would escalate the issue to a supervisor and provide me with an update within 2 to 3 days, following a review of the initial recorded call from August 2022.

This occurred in June, and I have been diligently attempting to resolve this matter before the end of my contract in August 2024. I am eager to find a resolution as I am being harassed by Vodacom representatives demanding payment and threatening to blacklist me, my cell number is ***. I have been faithfully making payments since the inception of my contract, and it is disheartening to be coerced into paying for a phone that has already been fully paid for.

Reviewer Update
The issue remains unresolved, and I am still bombarded with calls from representatives demanding money. As I write this, my number is currently blocked. It seems to be a difficult concept for you folks to simply go back and review the initial recorded call when I agreed to the contract. It feels like I am being taken advantage of, and I refuse to be a generous Santa Claus for Vodacom by paying for another year.
