Empty promises on parts - Insurance claim

I have insurance with Vodacom on my contract, the phone fell and the screen cracked, so I took it in to Vodacom in Savannah Mall Polokwane on Wednesday 09/07/2025, later that afternoon they phoned me and told me the insurance will cover the repairs but I have a co-payment of two hundred and some rand, which I then accepted. They told me the parts is on back order and will be here the latest Monday 14/07/2025, which I just found out is still not here in Polokwane. They just said lets see if it comes on Thursday 17/07/2025.

This was not the initial arrangement.

Why make empty promises in the first place?

I need this phone to be fixed urgently?

The phone they gave me to use in the mean time is so slow, it isn't even compatible with most of the apps I need to use, and it takes forever to charge, like 5 hours to get fully charged.
