Emergency situation and no signal

I am writing on behalf of hundreds of clients in the De Wildt area.Three armed ******ies occurred in our area, De Wildt, last night and victims could not get immediate help because of Vodacom's terrible signal in the area despite promises of the past years to address the problem. It is a rural area and there are no landlines, so vcellphones are the only means of communication.
In the past ten years hundreds of Vodacom clients in this area have been begging the service provider to assist and strengthen the signal. Petitions have been filed. Hundreds of affected numbers have been sent to Vodacom and all we get are empty promises.
I was recently told by an informed source in Vodacom that we will not get help as Vodacom cares more about its shareholders than a few hundred clients. We need more towers and apparently the telecommunication giant is not prepared to 'fork' out money for a few hundred. I am a journalist and will address this in the press. I sincerely hope Vodacom will care enough to at least respond to a press enquiry.
Maybe MTN will see this and might care more and offer to assist us.
