EliteMobile and Vodacom not trustworthy
Vodacom is using "EliteMobile" to do marketing on products as a third party. What a waste of time and resources! Zack from Elite phoned me 3 times to confirm 2 data upgrades on my current Vodacom data deals. The manager Stallone from the Umhlanga office also confirmed it after again stating that I only use a pocket router and does not have any fiber lines or internet at home. At the end he loaded a 400gig home line fiber deal and a 200gigi home line fiber deal with a pocket router included on both sim cards that is currently using only pocket routers. After numerous times asking why it is called a home line deal because I do not have fiber lines at home and is using pocket routers etc, this upgrade went through. I then phoned Vodacom and spoke to a person to cancel these two contracts that was in the process of upgrading. I went to Tygervalley Vodacom on 24 Feb just to find out that these two deals are currently loaded on my 2 data plans and that NONE of the cancellations went through - not the one that I lodged at EliteMobile and not the one at Vodacom.
This was a very bad experience with EliteMobile and Vodacom - trying to upgrade data deals. I dont trust the system, I dont trust any telephone conversation done by either of the parties.
