Eldery contract suspend after husband death
What a total lack of empathy and a real show of incompetence from Vodacom. This is the reason I already cancelled my contract with vodacom years ago, I could only get something done once I complained on hellopeter. We are at wits end and really if we have to speal to one more ****ing useless consultant that doesn't know how to do their job, I'm going to lose it. My grandparents have been loyal Vodacom customers for over 20 years and contract customers since about 2003 yet you did not take any of that into consideration when you suspended her contract. Their contract was in my grandfathers name, which included his own phone, my grandmothers phone, as well as their daughters phone. On 25 July 2021 my grandfather passef away and consequently their bank account has been frozen. We went on to your own website to get information on how to proceed. Your website states to only fill in a form, attach death certificate, ID and last statement and send it to an email address. We did this and received no confirmation. We went in into a vodacom shop and they told us they cant assist, we then phoned customer care, said they cant assist we have to go to a vodacom store. We told them we already ****ING WENT THERE. They gave us a different number, said they cant assist we must go back tothe original store they opened the contract at. WHAT THE ACTUAL ****. Who knows where they opened a contract 20 years ago!!!!!! We emailed the email addresses provided on your site again mid August. **** all. We emailed again end of the month and you suspened a grieving old ladies only contact to the outside world. Her only number from which she had to arrange her late husbands estate. What the **** do you think she must do???? The one number actually had death cover on so **** me, that contract and device is paid up and hers now. The other two numbers we ticked to be transfered to her name so that she can continue paying the contract like she had done LOYALLY FOR THE LAST 20 YEARS NO MATTER IF IT WAS IN HER HUSBANDS NAME, SHE PAID IT!!!!! You have no regard for human life. Just another unanswerd email. You know we can just leave this for months on end and let you wait for your money from estate lawyers right??? Oh wait, that could take years. You could sort this out but you choose to employ *********** people. Her contract is due to expire December 2021 anyway and you know I dont think we will renew it for her. As it stands we have gotten het a CELL C prepaid sim to use in the meantime time so if you want to reach her to make a ****ing huge apology, I suggest you reply so that I can give you her number. Im only doing this to help her but myself I will never have a contract with Vodacom again. Get this ****ing sorted. She needs her number so that you can continue ro ******* helpless old people. Ps really ****ing admirable that you dont recommend death cover to all your pensioner customers at a certain age. Maybe cause know one at Vodacom can actually think
