Efficient and Prompt

I was in the market for a new smartphone, and I'll admit Vodacom was not my first choice.

That was Telkom. But, after 4 failed attempts through the call centre and 4 cancellations for various reasons out of my control spanning over 2 months I eventually gave up on them and decided to try Vodacom. I wish I had sooner. A quick 15min phone call and within 48hrs my brand new phone was delivered to me. Great service Vodacom well done. I haven't had any major problems so far, minus some billing irregularities, but I have since notified Vodacom and I'm confident those will be sorted out in due time as well.

There are however problems I have that can't let me rate the business a 5. One of which is the way Vodacom structures its contract plans. No use being the fastest network in SA Vodacom if you give such small amounts of data in your plans compared to similarly structured and priced plans from competitors. Also Vodacom data in general is too expensive. I'd rather have a slower network with cheaper data, then the fastest network with expensive data. Doesn't matter how fast I can download and stream if I run out of data to do these things. Which is why Vodacom was not my first choice

All things considered though I would still recommend Vodacom to any one looking for a seamless efficient service overall, and quite honestly the best quality network available in SA
