Early termination lost data

Hi, i asked for my contract to be cancelled and it was done after i complained only to get my termination early on the 31st 08:40 and not at the end on the day like just before 12. So i lost out on a whole day to use my data i paid for. And now my sim does not work should it not get moved to prepaid? Please help
