E-SIM Troubles

So R300 in sim swops and still not working. On December of 2024 i went to my local Vodacom store to get new number as a new customer leaving Cell C. On that day i opted for a E-sim and it worked flawlessly. One year later i bought myself a new phone not on a contract and tried to transfer the E-sim to my new phone and unfortunately didn't work. i went on Vodacom's website and saw an option to do a E-sim swop on the site without going to a store. I paid my R25 and they sent me an email with the QR code for esim activation, i scanned the code and it kept saying unable to activate esim. I went to the Vodacom store and was told i had to sim swop to a physical sim and then back again to esim in order for it to work. after i did this i was told to wait 4 hours and i will receive an confirmation code via SMS. The problem is they disconnected my physical sim before i can receive the SMS and now i cant activate my esim without that code....... I live far away from my Vodacom store and had to drive there twice 150 km total. Now they want me to come back to the store......? i cant even phone customer care from the number in question. WHY IS IT SO HARD TO DO SOMETHING SO SIMPLE!!!!!
