dysfunctional account and zero customer care

I called the Vodacom call center today to ask that international roaming is activated on my cell phone account. I have a number of concerns with what happened next:
The line just cut off or the customer care assistant put the phone down on me.
My phone line is completely deactivated now – I cannot even call the customer support line (011).
When I call the customer support line using skype or another phone I get to a certain point and then the system tells me that I have exceeded the number of calls I’m allowed to make to the customer support line – whether I enter the phone number for my account, but even if I do not enter a phone number. How on earth can I contact Vodacom, my service provider, if this is the case.
I am leaving for a business trip to Canada (hence the initial request to activate international roaming) tonight and since you are cutting off any communication I don’t know how to resolve this. I need my phone for business during my travel. I am extremely frustrated with the service I am getting from Vodacom.

In a separate incident during an international trip last month my cell account was suspended and in the end the only explanation was that it was a mistake on Vodacom’s behalf. This is actually the reason I needed international roaming to be activated - it was before this.

The service I am getting from Vodacom is getting worse and worse and i cannot use my phone for the purposes it is intended because of the multiple problems.

Please immediately activate my line so that I can use my phone. I have never not payed my acccount (direct debit) so this has nothing to do with payment issues.
