Dropped calls

I have been experiencing dropped calls and then get this annoying sms offering 1 free minute. This after having every call dropped. What am I supposed to do with 1 minute? This does not compensate for the fact that businesses now see me as rude and disrespectful because they think that I am cutting the calls deliberately. It's unprofessional. Sometimes I have to call the same person up to 7 times just to finish a 3 minute conversation. What nonsense is that. I have called Vodacom a few times and I have gone into a Vodacom store. To date, I have received no resolution. I was even told that my phone is the problem. I've been using this phone since December 2017 and it was never an issue. Is Vodacom wiling to give me a free phone of equal value to the one I have? If so, they can go ahead an use the phone as a scapegoat for their atrocious service. If not, they need to figure out what they are doing wrong. I am very tempted to change networks at this point.

Despite the claim that this problem has been resolved, Vodacom has not resolved the issue. A representative called and assured me that the issue has been resolved. I was able to make proper calls for 1 day only. Since then however, I have numerous dropped calls. In fact, ironically, while on the phone with Vodacom customer care just a few minutes ago, the call was dropped. And that, after I called customer care 4 times. It toook that many tries to get through as the calls kept dropping. This is ridiculous. I expect a proper and permanent solution. This network is *******. It should just close down permanently. It’s the most useless network in South Africa. Most people I know have navigated to telkom and MTN after leaving Vodacom. The agents clearly have not got a clue about what they are doing. Technical support seems highly unqualified for their title. I have spoken to three different people. All with different makes of phones. Whenever they have the same issue, technical support makes highly idiotic claims that the make of the phone is a problem. They are quick to book brand new phones in for assessments and repairs, just because they are not s****ed enough to fix the actual problem. Stop telling customers to buy different phones in order to fix dropped calls. That is not a phone issue, it’s ckearly a network issue. That’s not the solution to your atttrocious service. FIX THE PROBLEM!!!!
