Double Handset Charge - Unacceptable

On 7 September 2017 - I upgraded to an iPhone 7, on a SMART-S Package for R649 p/m for 24 months (R15 576.00 for the duration of the contract) REF: VODACOMONLIN-*** . It expired in September 2019, but I upgraded in August 2019 (1 month early) to an iPhone XR at R669.00 for 36 months (R24 084.00 for the duration of the contract) REF: VODACOMONLIN-***.

My bills have been a little high since August and I have now logged into my account to find that I am still being charged my handset fee from 2017 upgrade @ R520.00 p/month. My new handset fee is referenced "Handset Installment 15" @ R360.00 & SMART S+ Line rental is R309.01 (R669.00 as I signed up for).

I understand that I upgraded a month early, and could have explained away the August & September 2019 charge of the handset for the old iPhone 7 (no longer in my posession) but now on my bill so far for October, it is present again.

This is unacceptable as I have now paid my 2017 contract in full as agreed in 2017. These extra charges are *******, and should be reversed immediately. For how long do you expect your consumers to pay double handset charges. If i am to upgrade in 2022, like my conbtract says it will expire, will I then be still paying for 2017 / 2019 and future handset charges?

I urge fellow Vodacom users to check their bills closely.
