Double debit order when changing debit order date

Last month, middle of February I changed my debit order date from the end of the month to the 7th of the month, reasons being, I changed jobs and salary was coming in on the 4th of the month.

When checking my bank account for March, i noticed Vodacom has doubled the amount it debited me.

I called call centre twice, and their response was, the debit order for February has bounced. I checked - January was fine, and for Feb( which I changed date for end Feb to beginning of March - and it was double.) Nothing bounced.

On changing debit order date, no information relating to double debit order was given. I tried getting an explanation from the collection department and they said, I should log it with call centre - which directed me to them in the first place.

As a long time customer - this service has become appalling. I am still waiting on Vodacom to send me an answer to why this happened without my knowledge.
