Double charged, not my fault
I had upgraded my phone on the 10th of July and it got delivered on the last week of July and it came with 2month free theft cover which you could extend.
On the 11th of September I called the insurance team and was quoted R255 but 30min later I received an SMS saying that I will be charged R336. I immediately called to cancel and I received an SMS saying that it has been cancelled.
Today I receive my statement and I was charged for insurance and on top of that I was charged twice for insurance but different amounts. I called insurance and spend 35min getting this sorted( the agent was not helpful) and was advised that they will call me back which they did.
I was then advised that I will be debited the incorrect amount but a refund will be credited NJANI when I asked for it it be cancelled in September which was then confirmed via text but I must still pay for it. In order for they system to correct it later at my expense.
I always ensure that the account that gets debited has the available funds now I have to add extra funds for a fault that was not caused by me.
Fix it.
