Don’t use Vodacom for business accounts!

We have a business account with Vodacom and payment goes off monthly on our business credit card. It seems that payment did not go off but when calling Vodacom to ask why it happened nobody could explain the issue but they has already locked all our business accounts. Companies can hide behind terms and conditions but you need to notify clients if you have an issue on a business and service level as that’s what we all do unless Vodacom has a different service level agreement with there business clients. I cannot believe that a company like Vodacom can have such a poor service to look after business customers. We will have to look at new options as lines expire.

Hi Vodacom I would suggest you implement a notification message if for some unknown reason a payment does not go off. A simple SMS notification would go a long way to notify anyone that there is a payment issue without just locking the account especially as payment has been going through for many months via credit card with no issues with Vodacom.
